FREE CASE EVALUATION

NOTICE

We help persons who have been injured and/or victims of fraud seeking compensation for their injuries and to recover economic damages. We represent individuals and businesses. We do not charge clients for consultations. We do not charge legal fees unless we are successful in recovering compensation for our clients.

Many homes in East Montgomery and Pike Road have experienced water leaks in recent years due to defective PEX water pipes manufactured by the Canadian company, BOW Plumbing Group, Inc. Most of our clients have already suffered multiple leaks in their homes. These defective pipes are wrongfully breaking down, so the damage only gets worse with time.

Aughtman Law Firm is representing many homeowners and fighting the manufacturer of these defective pipes to obtain compensation for affected homeowners. Our clients have each been hit with repair bills totaling well into the thousands of dollars. BOW has not offered to compensate our clients for the large amounts of damage they have caused.

So far, neighborhoods with documented damage due to defective BOW PEX pipes include:

  • Woodland Creek
  • Hampstead
  • Deer Creek
  • Lockshire
  • Stoney Brooke
  • Park Lake
  • New Park
  • Oaks at Sturbridge
  • Tuscany Manor

What are PEX Pipes?

Over the last two decades, a growing number of builders of new homes switched from copper and PVC plumbing pipes to cross-linked polyethylene pipe called PEX. The cost and labor associated with PEX pipes was intended to be more affordable, but unfortunately, due to defects in the design and manufacture of these BOW PEX pipes, the pipes prematurely rupture and leak causing major damage to homes.

If you have experienced leaks or would like to find out more about this problem, please contact our offices today by phone, 334.215.9873, or e-mail. We do not charge a fee to investigate your case. If we take your case, we will handle it on a contingency fee basis which means we only get paid if we win your case.

If we take your case, we will stand by you through the entire process so that you are in the best position to receive a fair and just settlement or trial.
